City & Guilds Lifetime Automotive Lifetime Qualification for all motor trade personnel

 

 

Our Automotive F-gas training can be completed at your work site or home using your own a/c equipment or we can bring our equipment along at no extra cost, it is a quick and easy qualification that meets the current mandatory legislation requirements for anyone that works on vehicle air conditioning systems. 

The F-gas training covers legislation, health and safety, working principles, system design and operation. The assessment consists of 20 questions and two small practical tests to complete. We work through the course handbook with the candidate on the day of the assessment answering any additional questions raised. Please note, that not all companies offer this with their training as the majority of our competitors will just post the course handbook to the candidate for them to read and understand prior to the assessment, for obvious reasons this is not the best way of learning as it requires a dedicated individual with the time and ability to read and fully understand what they have read. By us doing the training in an easy to understand style on the day, we are proud to have achieved a candidate pass rate in excess of 99%. based on over 1600 assessments since 2009 

 

From 4th July 2010 it became mandatory for any person handling fluorinated gases such as R134a and r1234yf to hold a recognised qualification in their own name. The 7543 City & Guilds Automotive qualification is one of the most popular choices of qualification to meet this mandatory requirement, the level 3 lifetime qualification has no expiry date, it is ideal for any person working in the motor trade or any person that legally needs to obtain and handle any fluorinated refrigerants.
